The Perfect Perth Weekend: A 48-Hour Itinerary
Friday night to Sunday afternoon, built around the river: what the concierge desk books when a friend asks for the real version.
Friday evening — arrive light
Check in before seven, drop bags and go straight to the rooftop bar for first drinks as the stadium side of the sky goes dark. Dinner at the signature room at eight — the chef's table if you planned ahead — then a slow loop of the foreshore path or an hour on the floor if that is the mood.

Saturday morning — the river first
Coffee on the terrace, then the foreshore loop before the heat builds. By ten you are either on a cabana daybed — book the cabana early — or in a Swan Valley car with the chauffeur desk, depending on whether the weekend is water or wine.
A weekend here works because nothing is further than a lift ride from anything else.
Saturday afternoon — two versions
Version one: the spa's thermal circuit and a long lunch on the relaxation deck. Version two: Fremantle by car — markets, the harbour, a late afternoon at a brewery, back by six. Both end the same way: a nap and the sunroom light turning copper through the suite windows.
Saturday night — the headline
Theatre night if a season is running — the package handles seats and curtain-timed dinner. Otherwise a hosted salon session for the players, or the supper menu and a corner of the lobby bar for everyone else. Saturday on a resort peninsula should feel like the city came to you.

Sunday — the slow finish
Breakfast late, papers, one last river walk. Checkout is kind to Sunday people — late departure arranged the night before means the room works until you leave. Then fifteen minutes to the airport and the weekend ends exactly as tired as it should.
